About Vibekollen

We built the place we'd been missing

We're Daniel Milton and Niclas Vestlund, and we both live in Mantorp. We vibe code ourselves and almost always have something half-finished in the works. Vibekollen started in a Facebook group, and we discovered that we shared the same idea: projects built with AI deserve a place of their own.

It didn't start with a business plan. It started with a Facebook post.

How it started

It started with Daniel spotting the word Mantorp

In a Facebook group about vibe coding, Daniel saw that Niclas was also from Mantorp. We decided to meet up, show what we were working on and talk ideas.

It soon became clear that we'd been mulling over the same thing.

Why isn't there a go-to place where Swedish vibe coders can collect and showcase what they build?

We saw it all the time in the feeds. Someone posted an app or a tool, got a few comments, and then the next post came along. A week later the build was nowhere to be found.

When someone has put evenings and weekends into an idea, it shouldn't disappear just because a social feed moves on. We wanted to give the projects a place where they can stay and keep being discovered, and where the person behind the build is at least as interesting as the result.

What we're building

A place for both the projects and the people behind them

Vibekollen is a showcase for Swedish AI builds. But the idea is bigger than a link collection.

Bring your projects together

Every build gets its own page, and your profile brings together everything you've made.

Build your portfolio

A portfolio that shows what you've actually built, not which tools you claim to know.

Discover others

Projects and people otherwise scattered across different groups and feeds.

Grow together

Coming up

Feedback, test users and someone to build the next thing with. Honestly, we're only at the beginning of that part.

Baskollen

More than a project gallery

We don't just want to showcase builds. We want them to get better.

Baskollen gives every project a technical review of security, performance, accessibility and discoverability. It says nothing about the idea itself. It shows where the project stands and what can be fixed.

We build too

We practice what we preach

We don't stand on the sidelines watching. We vibe code ourselves, often with several projects going at once, and Vibekollen is built exactly the same way. AI tools like Claude Code and Codex help us move faster from an idea to something that actually works.

But the direction is ours. We are the ones who prioritize, test and stand behind what gets published.

Vibekollen is in beta. Not everything is finished, and some things will be rough for a while. We build in the open and fix things as we go.

The founders

The people who started Vibekollen

We don't split the work into roles. We do pretty much everything together, but we come from different backgrounds.

Daniel Milton, co-founder of Vibekollen

Daniel Milton

Co-founder, IT consultant and vibe coder

Daniel works as an IT consultant by day and always has a few AI projects of his own on the side. He was the one who reached out after seeing that Niclas also lived in Mantorp.

Niclas Vestlund, co-founder of Vibekollen

Niclas Vestlund

Co-founder, QA and vibe coder

Niclas works in QA and testing by day, and has long been interested in what makes a digital product understandable and stable. On the side, he has several AI projects of his own in the works.

Where we're headed

We believe a shared place can become something bigger

When more projects and creators are in the same place, it gets easier to find each other. A project can get its first test users. A half-finished idea can get the feedback it needs to actually launch. Someone can find the right person to build the next thing with.

The goal is for Vibekollen to become the go-to place for Swedes building with AI. Not just a gallery, but a place where you actually learn from each other.

We're still at the beginning. The rest isn't history yet. We're building it now.

The word itself

What do we mean by vibe coding?

To us, vibe coding is about using AI as a building partner. You describe what you want, experiment and improve step by step. You don't have to start by learning to write all the code yourself.

That doesn't mean quality and security stop mattering. Quite the opposite. The easier it gets to build, the more important it becomes to understand what you ship.

What matters isn't your title. What matters is that you're building something.

Have you built something with AI?

Don't let it disappear in the feed. Post it here, add it to your profile and let more people find it.
